Born and raised in Puerto Rico, and heavily influenced by the 80s punk/grunge scene, Melinette understands the importance of diversity, nuance, and reference that is integral to her work. This authenticity is critical to who Melinette is as a stylist and is always thoughtfully considered when making choices for her clients. During her career she's gone through rigorous training, interning, and then assisting, world-renowned stylist, Katie Mossman. This has lead Melinette to expand her own editorial career and has been featured in publications such as InStyle, Ladygunn, Pap!, MMScene, and more. She has also collaborated with brands such as Chanel, Stuart Weitzman, Laura Mercier, and Refinery 29.

Equally experienced in working on advertising campaigns, editorials, as well as music videos, and red-carpet events, there is no limit to where her passion and business acumen take her.

She currently resides in New York City.
